The Carrara marble quarries reveal themselves as inverted cathedrals, where the absence of matter carves out unexpected architectures. In this series, my visual research explores the precision of clean cuts and the purity of volumes emerging from the mountain. The "mathematical gaze" identifies an ancestral order within the marble tiers, transforming the extraction site into a profound reflection on form and light.
